A pegacat is a small flying feline not dissimilar in size and
appearence to a house cat (felis domesticus), except of course
for its handsome wings, with which it is able to soar for hours
in spiraling updrafts, contemplating the grandeur and beauty of
nature (or chasing pigeons).
Traveller's tales of pegacats in Africa growing to such great
size as to be able to carry off young elephants to their mountain
aeries have not been confirmed by any responsible witnesses and
no heed should be paid to such obvious fabrications.
