Welcome to JXplorer!
JXplorer is an open source, cross platform LDAP browser. It is
a standards compliant general purpose LDAP browser that can be
used to read and search any LDAP directory, or any X500 directory
with an LDAP interface. It is flexible, can be extended in a number of
ways, and is is available for immediate free
download under the OSI Apache 2 licence (with the name changed).
JXplorer is written in java, and the source code and Ant build system are available via svn for users who want to experiment or extend the program.
JX has been through a number of different versions; the most recent stable release is 3.2.2 with 3.3 currently in late beta (full release due May 2012)
Features
JXplorer is a fully functional LDAP client with advanced security integration and support for the more difficult and obscure parts of the LDAP protocol. It has been tested on Windows, Solaris, Linux and OSX, packages are available for HPUX, AIX, BSD and it should run on any java supporting operating system. Its features include:
